I was blog hopping and saw this post. That stamp is from a set from Hero Arts. It came with I believe 4 birds and sayings. I still need to ink mine up :).

You're Special

Just a quick card to share with you. I made this recently for my good friend Ange's birthday. Isn't this birdie just too cute? Can you believe it's not A Muse? I don't remember the last time I bought (or used) a stamp that wasn't A Muse.

Anyway, this birdie is from a super cute acrylic set that I picked up for 50% off at a local store that was closing a few weeks ago. Sadly, I tossed the packaging. Can anyone tell me who makes it? It came in a set with other birdies with different sayings. If you can help, leave a comment. I'll send you a RAK! :)

I just came across your blog and Smudges a couple days ago. I tried to sign up for your class tomorrow, Oct 16th but they said you only have 12 spots and they were full. I never know if I can attend until the last minute as my husband travels so I guess I am out of luck. Bummer!

Hi Michelle! Thanks for the comment - welcome to my blog! I'm sorry you weren't able to get into tonight's class. Smudges has a very small class space, so we had to stop sign-ups at 12 students. Otherwise I'd be happy to teach more fun ladies. :) Hope to see you at a future class!

Yummy Yummy Yummy!

I have to say, I haven't been a fan of Making Memories over the last few years. But lately ... I'm LOVIN' their goods! Check out their entire line of new Halloween, St. Nick, and Deck the Halls. Seriously drool-worthy, I tell you!

I have an Archiver's gift card in my wallet. I think this rainy weekend calls for some scrappy shopping. ;)

More Frames!

My mom loved the magnetic frames I made for Candice, so I made her a couple for her birthday last week!


I love this picture of Lily. It was taken on our camping trip in August. She was leaning on a tree by the Mississippi River.



This one features Heidi Swapp fuzzy rub-ons. They have been in my stash forever, and I was finally brave enough to try them out. They are SO MUCH FUN! I went a little crazy with them, as you can see. :) I accented the flowers with A Muse twinkle stickers. Of course! You can never have too much sparkle.

I love the photo in this frame though. I had told Lily that morning that we had a Super Secret Mission to accomplish at the apple orchard that day. I told her I needed a picture of her with my mom (who avoids photos!). This photo is so funny to me because Lily looks so sneaky and full of giggles! ;) When we left the orchard, Lily said "Super Secret Mission ... Accomplished!" Haha!
