Happy Halloween!

I participated in my very first ATC swap this month. Dawn made me do it! I'm so glad she did ... I might be addicted now. It was an A Muse Halloween ATC swap, hosted by LeeAnne. What could be better than A Muse and Halloween? Not much!

My package arrived yesterday - oh my word! Such fun little treasures. I can't wait to display them in my 7 Gypsies ATC holder ... that I found brand-spanking-new at Goodwill for $4. Did I mention it was already filled with cards and dividers? Deal of the century, for sure. :)

Anyway, here is my very first ATC. Be kind! I used dark gray linen textured cardstock and a lovely dark orange cardstock for the layered base (from Archiver's "free coupon" stash), and some Martha Stewart ribbon I've been hoarding since last Halloween season. I used some of my favorite A Muse goodies - black vintage cardstock, micro twinkle stickers, tiny pumpkin, solid bird, crooked fence, beware, and the bracket frames clear set.

I'm telling you ... I'm in love with ATCs! Even with all of the layers and details that went into this particular design, it still took me no time at all to make 10 of them and only one sheet of each cardstock. Seriously - how cute is it? So tiny!

With that, I wish you all a spoooooooky day! Lily is with her dad this Halloween (they are being pirates!), so the hubby and I have grown-up Halloween plans tonight and tomorrow night. Costumes are mandatory! Looking forward to some fun times with friends and some live music.

Sweet

Since I thought I had my very own soon-to-be-released A Muse Cupcake Builder clear set ... but apparently do not ... I have other things to share with you today instead of sneak peeks! Hee hee. You'll just have to check out the other creative team member blogs for your dose of cupcake goodness. :) You will swoon ... too much cuteness going on! You can get your very own set soon in your local stores, or you can order online starting November 3. I'll be getting my hot little hands on a set when I'm in Seattle next week. Look out - cupcake madess after that, people!

So instead of a cupcake card today, I have another sweet card to share with you.

A super-special birthday card for the super-sweet Linda - owner of A Muse!

You know I had to throw a google-eye on there. ;)

Okay friends, I'll be back tomorrow to share my very first ATC! Get excited! :)

Got Cupcakes?

I have the best news to share! A huge group of us A Muse Creative Team members will be gathering in Seattle the weekend of November 7. Want to join us for ... cupcakes?!

Oh yeah, baby! For just $20, you can attend the A Muse Cupcake Social! If the idea of hanging out with over 30 members of the A Muse Creative Team isn't appealing enough for you - how about a free Cupcake Builder clear stamp set and a fun Make & Take? (You will definitely want to get your hands on the new Cupcake Builder set - it's so sweet!) This is such a unique opportunity - we hope to see you there! Did I mention there will be cupcakes?! My favorite!

There are a limited number of spaces available, so be quick to buy your admission here!

Wow!

We had so much fun in class last night. Thanks to the ladies who joined me - Sue, Kirsten, Darcy, Holly, Cheryl, Karen, Dawn, Jane, Sally, and Lindsey! What a fabulous group of ladies. :)

Here's another card we made last night. It was inspired by *the queen* Julie Ebersole - thanks Jules! I'm not sure if you can tell, but there's lots of sparkle and glitter going on. :)

Another Sneak!

Here's another sneaky-peek at some goodies that will soon be released. Check out the camo patterned card! I'm loving it so much. I wasn't sure if I'd like the stars colored in camo colors, but I think it's pretty cool. I even camoflauged the hummer all by myself. The husband was pretty impressed. ;)

Keep an eye out on the A Muse News blog for all the information on Operation Hero Mail!

We had a fun time at Smudges last night - thanks for coming, ladies! And a special *hello* to the new students - Carole and Holly. So great to meet you, and we'll see you again soon. Holly was new to stamping, and let me tell you - she rocked it! You couldn't even tell which card was hers and which was my sample. ;)

One more thing - a little shout out to A Muse designer Erika Hall, who accidentally deleted her whole entire blog (OMG, I know!) and now has a *shiny new blog*. I love her creations and am so happy she's back. Check her out and show her some love!

TGIF, everyone! I'm going to be doing a lot of shopping and stamping this weekend ... how about you?

Operation Hero Mail

Did you see my card on the A Muse News blog today? I had fun creating cards for the troops with the soon-to-be-released Operation Hero Mail supplies. Check out that new notecard - how fun is that? I don't know if you can tell, but the stamped portion isn't a layer of cardstock - the notecard is actually blank in the middle! Sure makes for easy-peasy mass production of cards. Wait until you see the other goodies to be released. :)

Be on the lookout for sneak peeks from other designers and instructors, and be sure to check back on the A Muse News blog tomorrow for details on the card-making kits! I have two more cards to sneak peek for you ... so come on back!

News Flash!

I've just added a *new* store to my teaching schedule. New to me, and new'ish to the community. Laurie (the owner) says they opened their doors in January, and moved to a new location last month. So excited to check it out!

We're starting with one class, and hopefully it goes well so we can do more! It's a Saturday class (a change from my usual Thursday evening classes) - how much fun is that? I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than stamping.

So all you peeps near Northfield ... join us! I can't wait to meet you. We'll have a great time! :)
