Challenge #4: Black, White, Red

This challenge was to use red, white, and black only. FUN!

Challenge #3: One Layer

This challenge was to make a card with only one layer. I never make one layer cards, so this was really fun! I always love what other people do with just one notecard, some stamps, and embellishments. You can't tell in the photo, but my seashell is super glittery!

Lily chose shimmer paper and multi-colored iPods. (she's saving her $$ for a green one, LOL)

Challenge #2: BFF

The next challenge was to design a card for our BFF. I'm loving the new Sea of Love release, and I haven't inked up this ship and sentiment yet! This challenge was a great opportunity to do just that. Lily chose the BFF owls. :)

Challenge #1: Celebrity Crush

Lily and I went to see The Tooth Fairy today ... so my card was inspired by that. Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) is my secret boyfriend. :) :) (Lily says he just doesn't know it yet ... ha!) Lily's inspiration was Selena Gomez ... not a crush, but she's 9 years old so we can cut her some slack, right? :)

Pajama Party!

Lily and I are anxiously awaiting the A Muse Pajama Party tonight. And by anxiously, I mean we were ready two hours ago ... only to realize it started at 6pm Pacific time. Not Central time. Ha!

Anyway, I snapped a few "before" photos. Let the fun begin! We'll be back shortly with our cards for the first challenge. :)

Lily playing her (my) DS ... waiting for the party to start.

Hooligan wants to party too! Or just nap. Whichever.

beer & rolo treats for me :) and the computer is up and ready to go!

you can't see everything I threw on the floor to make room on my desk!

Sea of Love

Oh my goodness gracious!

Have you been peeping out the great sneaks of the new A Muse release? Perfection! I'm loving the sea and nautical theme - it will be so versatile, way beyond Valentine's Day. Don't forget the new ribbon and 8.5x11 solid papers. Yesssss!

The new Sea of Love products are now on the website ... and hopefully in your local stores too! What are your favorite new images?

I'm in full on Valentine's mode. The decorations are ready to be put up and ideas for crafty projects are brewing! :)

There will be LOTS of crafting in the coming days ... lots for upcoming classes, but hopefully a few *extra* goodies to share on the blog. It's one of my goals for 2010 ... post more FUN stuff for you lovelies. :)

Happy New Year!

Happy 2010, everyone! The year 2009 was an interesting one for me - lots of good, but lots of not-so-good. Here's hoping the new year will be ALL good for me and for you. :)

I've updated my class list ... check out the left hand side of my blog (under my photo) - and mark your calendars! Looking forward to LOTS of fun classes in the coming months.

I'm teaching my fun 2010 calendar class one more time - Thursday, January 7 (6:30-8:30pm) at Smudges. Please call (952-944-9885) ahead of time to sign up!
